Conditions of Use
If you are not one of our wholesale customers, the only way to place an order from Mjøsen Kafferøsteri AS is through our website. Mjøsen Kafferøsteri AS retains the right to refuse customers. If monies have been taken before an order is declined a full refund will be given. By placing an order and giving credit card details on our secure server, the customer is bound and contracted to complete the sale unless Mjøsen Kafferøsteri AS decides otherwise. These terms do not impact a consumer’s statutory rights.

All of our coffee is sold as whole beans. To enjoy the best cup of Mjøsen kaffe coffee possible, you’ll need (access to) an adequate coffee grinder.
We always send the freshest coffee available. Because roasted coffee needs time to degas (approximately 3-4 days for filter coffee and 6-10 days for espresso), the shipping time usually acts as a buffer, meaning your coffee is (nearly) ready to enjoy upon arrival.
Norwegian customers are covered by Forbrukerkjøpsloven when purchasing from Mjøsen Kafferøsteri AS online. Angrettloven is not valid when purchasing food products that deteriorate over time – coffee falls into this category.
The cost of shipping depends on weight, volume and destination. The price for your shipment is calculated and added to your total during checkout. We currently use Posten for packages delivered within Norway.
Delivery / Shipping time
We want you to enjoy the freshest coffee possible, so we always send coffee within a week after it was roasted. All our coffees are packed in sealed bags. This increases the shelf life of the coffee and our coffees should therefore taste sweet and fresh at least for a month after roast date.
Shipping with Norwegian Post varies depending on where you are (Norway: typically 2 – 5 days). The amount of shipping days is out of our control and we unfortunately cannot offer tracking on this service.
Refunds & Returns
As a customer of Mjøsen Kafferøsteri AS, we want you to be completely satisfied. If for some reason your expectations have not been met, please feel free to utilise our 14-day return policy on goods traded in our online shop. In the event of a return, you are obligated to cover the costs of shipment back to us, and the product must be delivered in the same condition as you received it, with original packaging from Mjøsen kaffe intact. Please note that according to Angrerettsloven §12, this policy does not apply on products with expiration dates (such as coffee). If you want to return a product please contact our support team by emailing us at email@example.com.
We accept payment by Visa and Mastercard at checkout through our payment handler, Stripe.
